In line with the AS9100 standard, two foreign assessors from Germany-based TÜV Rheinland conducted all-element assessment for the management system at Chongqing Aviation Oil Production Base under SINOPEC Lubricants from October 13 to 19, 2010. As a result, they thought the quality management system established by SINOPEC Lubricants coincides with AS9100 requirements and the system operation is effective. This marked that the current quality management system of SINOPEC Lubricants can not only satisfy the internationally adopted ISO9001 standard for general manufacturing service business and ISO/TS16949 for the auto industry, but also meet the AS9100 for aviation, space and national defense organizations.

The AS9100 standard is a specialized standard targeted for aviation, space and national defense-related industries and developed by AAQG in accordance with ISO9000. It raises the bar for risk control, traceability, stability and reliability. In 2007, major aircraft makers in the US and Europe have imposed AS9100 certification requirements on the suppliers at various levels in countries including China.
