The engine ignition test for China’s next generation large-thrust 120-ton LOX/kerosene rockets conducted in China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation proved a success on July 29. Four fluorinated oils/greases that SINOPEC Lubricants provided to the engine successfully passed tests as well.

Compared with conventional engines, LOX/kerosene engines, with strong propulsive forces, are pollution free, easily stored, highly reliable and reusable. SINOPEC fluorinated oils/greases play a key role in helping the normal start and stable operation of engines.
