SINOPEC Lubricants launched ads at the International V8 Supercars Championship held at the Clipsal 500 circuit, Adelaide, Australia from February 28 to March 3, 2013. The sports event drew about 95,000 spectators, setting a record since its launch. The V8 Supercars Championship has been called by Australians as the "people's racing" and reputed as one of the three major sports events in Australia (with the other two including cricket and rugby). The event has also been set station in New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates.

With the promotion slogan as "Performance in Motion", SINOPEC launched circuit ads that were consistent with the slogan, highlighted product properties and catered for consumer demand in the car race.
SINOPEC Lubricants had four ads billboards with the length totaling 140m in the event, which raised its profile in Australia; Moreover, the Company will further launch ads at the Perth leg due in early May 2013 to increase exposure. Since its entry into the Australian market in 2009, SINOPEC Lubricants has enjoyed sustained and fast growth in sales volumes, with products covering industries like mining, transportation and machinery.
