On January 2, Sinopec Lubricant Company received a certificate for technical certification from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Engine Co., Ltd. Sinopec cylinder oil 5070S and system oil 3008 respectively passed technical certification of Mitsubishi.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Engine is one of the world's three major manufacturers of low-speed two-stroke marine diesel engines. Its two-stroke marine diesel engines take up a considerable share in Japan-made vessels.

Sinopec cylinder oil 5070S and system oil 3008 got MAN’s technical certification in 2012, and passed WARTSILA's sailing test in October 2013. The receipt of Mitsubishi’s technical certification this time marks that Sinopec cylinder oil 5070S and system oil 3008 have got technical recognition of the world’s three major manufacturers of low-speed two-stroke marine diesel engine.
