Sinopec recently received the updated equipment instructions from KEMEL, a Japan-based company. Sinopec marine system oil 3005, awarded KEMEL technical certification and confirmed to be applicable to KEMEL tail shaft sealing equipment, was included in the said equipment instructions.

KEMEL is the world's biggest manufacturer of ship tail shaft sealing equipment, specialized in the design, production and marketing of tail shaft sealing equipment. In direct contact with seawater, tail shaft oil is required to be better separated from water and more resistant to emulsification and wear under extreme pressure.
